- 0.5tsp belacan (shrimp paste)
- 1tbsp tamarind paste
- 2tbsp water
- 2tbsp palm sugar
- salt to taste
- oil
- 3 shallots, finely chopped
- 3 gloves garlic, finely chopped
- 5 red Thai chilii, finely chopped
- 1tsp galangal powder
- 1 tomato, quartered
