Zhoug (Syrian Chili Paste)
120g fresh jalapeno peppers
1 cup chopped coriander (leaves and stems)
0.5cup chopped flat-leaf parsley (leaves and stems)
2 cloves garlic
0.5tsp coriander, ground
0.5tsp cumin, ground
60ml olive oil
0.5tsp sherry vinegar
salt
pepper
Combine all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
